Why do you CrossFit?
“It is very important to me to work on all the aspects of strength and conditioning, living a healthy lifestyle that consists of balance. Finding, for me, functional training offers me that balance I have been seeking for many years, training my body as one large muscle vs breaking down each part of my body. Preventing injury while acquiring strength, increasing my range of motion, while maintaining my ability to live a healthy and very busy life, CrossFit fits perfectly.
I can train, find my own version of strength in what I take away from the atmosphere and workouts, while binding a greater connection to my local community of athletes, as well, the public in general. ”
Why do you Coach?
“Why I coach is very simple to me, I completely and utterly enjoy helping people do things they have the perception they cannot do. Working with clients and members of of all ages, with a variety of backgrounds, both medically, athletically, and personally, the moment someone learns something new in the world of CrossFit, and accomplishes the first piece to this truly amazing sport, makes my heart happy ☺
Crossfit is so much more than lifting weights and hitting reps, doing burpees and getting on the rower, its about being uncomfortable sometimes and breaking personal barriers we carry within ourselves, and the people we meet here get it, because they too are here for the same reasons. The levels of personal growth we can have, share, and coach via this sport seem endless. Helping people transform so many parts of who they are with the programming of functional fitness is exactly why I coach ☺”
